One thing I started noticing when I came back to school is how statically charged I am all the time. I didn’t realize it completely until I started installing programs on the intel macs side of the lab, where all the keyboards are made of metal. So every time I went to type something, I’d always get shocked. After about the 20th time, it started to get really annoying and painful.
This is probably one of my woes because I love to knit and crochet, but I know they make me full of static. So perhaps my next quest is to find yarn that would not cause static, so I can finally make myself headgear for the cold winters in New Jersey. I wonder if there’s a good way to combine digital arts with fiber arts…
